I just came across two gallery exhibitions that caught my attention:
MattiaBonetti at the Paul Kasmin Gallery (293 Tenth Avenue) through March 13th. This will be the largest exhibition to date of the designer’s work in the United States. It will feature Bonetti’s latest designs for furniture and objects.
Baron Adolphe de Meyer at the Robert Miller Gallery (524 West 26th Street) through April 3rd. This is the de Meyer’s first solo exhibition since the 1994 retrospective at the International Center of Photography. The exhibition will include rare works by de Meyer, who is considered to be the father of fashion photography, including photographs of his wife and muse, Baroness Olga de Meyer.
