Blog Update! Just In Time For Fashion Week

As you may recall I wrote about the exhibition “Avedon Fashion 1944–2000” at the ICP several weeks ago. It has just been announced that the ICP will be holding an evening dedicated to the exhibiton prior to its closing on September 20th. Its sounds like a very interesting event. I know that I will be in attendence. Here is the information:

Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 pm- HBO Auditorium, 1100 Sixth Avenue at 42nd Street, 15th Floor

An evening dialogue devoted to the changing paradigm of fashion with Harold Koda, Curator, Costume Institute, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; China Machado, Avedon’s 60s supermodel; and Lizzie Himmel, photographer. The panel will be moderated by ICP Curators Carol Squiers and Vince Aletti.
