Museum World Gone Mad…or Finally Smartened Up?

While I am busy preparing an article for a print publication, I wanted to draw the attention of my readers, if there are any, to two fascinating articles in yesterday’s NYTimes. While neither of these two articles are related to the decorative arts, they do pertain to the profession which I call my life’s work. There is a shake-up occurring at two important museum’s in the United States, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and also at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York (a place that was like my second home for almost two and a half years).
